Last fall I made the assumption that I had talent at being at this place. I was wrong. I totally and completely suck at it. I consider the winter darkness as my fiercest nemesis. What good is all this fabulous nature when I can't see it? However, last weekend I had a visit from a good friend who boosted my energy levels. My boyfriend, my friend and I went out exploring some lovely sites.

Return of optimism..
Thursday, February 7, 2013
The municipality building is not the fairest building I know, but with a little sunshine it brightens up. I had my first PA today, and I was relieved hearing that my boss thinks I have a positive attitude. I guess it's time to start feeling the positivity myself again...
A glimpse of daylight

Obviously there has been rather few post from my part recently. It's a combination of starting to have a life and the fact that it's dark most of the time - especially the time when I'm not at work. Here comes the advantage of not yet having my driving license. Since I have to travel to the neighboring municipality in order to take driving lessons, I had an opportunity to enjoy some day light and take a few shots from the bus.
On my way to work

I got up early in a mission to get to work by eight, taking advantage of the turning back of the clock. Far from unexpected, I did not complete this mission. I do in fact have a tendency to spend time well if I have it available. However, having plenty of time, I managed to notice the incredible weather and as a consequence I grabbed my camera to take a few pictures on my way to work.
Well back home I came over Washington Post's experiment to see if people notice beauty on their way to work. Out of 1,100 people walking by the famous violinist Joshua Bell only 6 people stops for a short moment to pay attention to him. With my little morning walk in mind - and my documentation of it - I feel quite content with myself. I managed to notice a little bit of beauty today.
